On December 9, 2024, California ReLeaf hosted an educational webinar about The Economic Impact of Urban & Community Forestry in California. The webinar provided an overview of a recently completed research study on the Contributions of Urban & Community Forestry to California’s Economy in 2021. Dr. Rajan Parajuli, Dr. Eric Wiseman, and Brittany Christensen, MF, who helped lead the research study, presented highlighting the contributions that private, public, utility, and nonprofit sectors of Urban and Community Forestry have made to our state and local economies.
