The Planning for Growth and Open Space Webinar Series presents its third session: “Green Infrastructure Planning: Connecting Partners & Greenspaces”.
Join the webinar to explore Green Infrastructure Planning, how local communities can get started, and the role that the Forest Service can play. Guest speakers Kendra Briechle (The Conservation Fund), Karen Firehock (Green Infrastructure Center Inc., Virginia), and Rick LeBrasseur (The Center for Green Infrastructure Design, Utah) will discuss the resources, tools, and training opportunities available to help local communities plan for growth as well as protect valuable greenspaces. Various case studies will include the New River Valley and Wasatch Front green infrastructure planning efforts.
