Dear Network,
Thank you for being a California ReLeaf Network member. Your participation in the Network is incredibly valuable to making our urban forest nonprofit community smarter and stronger. Together we are making our cities greener and healthier for all Californians!
It is time to renew Network membership for 2021! Please renew today by providing updated info about your organization and – if you are able – paying dues. Many of you are working remotely or your staff contacts have changed. Your renewal will ensure we have your current contact and program information, so that we can connect with you and connect you to other members and resources.

The biggest benefit of the ReLeaf Network is being part of a coalition wholeheartedly working to improve their communities through trees and having opportunities to network with your fellow tree champions.
Here’s a quick recap of other benefits you receive as a ReLeaf Network Member:
Advocacy at the Capitol through ReLeaf’s active partnerships with state agencies and environmental justice and natural resource coalitions. Over the last 7 years, ReLeaf’s work has influenced over $100 million for Urban Forest grant funding and supported over $50 million in Urban Greening grant funding.
Insights/updates from Sacramento on state urban forestry funding for nonprofits, including inside info on new urban forest funding opportunities.
Access to ReLeaf staff for your urban forest nonprofit questions on grants, nonprofit management, programming, and local advocacy as well as personal connections to other urban forestry experts.
Educational, collaborative, and networking opportunities with your peers:
- Annual Network Retreat
- Monthly Learn Over Lunch Sessions
- Webinars
- Network-specific emails with resources and updates
- ReLeaf Network Listserv – New in 2021!
- Network Retreat travel stipends for member organizations (after COVID).
- Amplification of your organization through your listing on our website and social media.
Your annual dues support our ability to provide these benefits. In order to ensure the Network remains accessible to all, dues are always optional. Our suggested dues are $120 per organization, and a sliding scale for additional advocacy support. We know that the pandemic has brought financial strain to nonprofits, so we ask that you simply pay whatever amount works for your organization this year.
Thank you again, and see you on Zoom for the annual ReLeaf Network Retreat – Save the Date for May 12th and 13th!
Stay safe & be well,
Cindy Blain
