Do you remember when you were a kid and you felt like your birthday would never come? And then suddenly – BAM! – you had opened all your presents and your party guests had gone home. At the California ReLeaf office, we always feel that way about California Arbor Week.
All year, we’re planning for this one week of the year and suddenly, it’s here and over. Today, marks exactly one month before the start of California Arbor Week 2013. We’re excited about everything that’s going to happen in the next month.
Poster contest and photo contest entries will start flooding our mailboxes and in-boxes. Network and community groups will begin registering their events. Press releases will go out. Banners will fly. Californians will celebrate the trees in their communities.
It’s an exciting time of year here. We hope you’ll come to our party and help us celebrate!
