In April, California ReLeaf and Canopy teamed up to enter the Odwalla Plant a Tree competition. Over the course of two months, supporters were asked to choose their favorite tree planting project by voting for one of twenty entries. The top ten vote recipients will each receive a $10,000 grant from Odwalla.
We’re happy to announce that the California ReLeaf/Canopy project made it into the top ten and will be receiving one of those grants! The funds will be used to plant 116 trees at Brentwood Academy in East Palo Alto.
We’re also very proud to announce that two other Network members also placed in the top ten. Friends of the Urban Forest and Urban ReLeaf will both receive $10,000 tree planting grants from Odwalla. To view all of the winning videos, visit the Odwalla Plant a Tree page.
