Dos Pueblos High School Neighborwoods Event

On October 17, Goleta Valley Beautiful hosted a tree care and landscaping event at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta. Twenty-one volunteers contributed 67 service hours to plant six Coast Live Oak trees, extend the irrigation system and move a truckload of mulch to prevent erosion. They also planted flats of rosemary along with adjustments to the weedblock and mulch. Several natal plum bushes were also planted. Volunteer groups represented included Dos Pueblos Leadership, Beautify Dos Pueblos, Dos Pueblos students and parents and Goleta Valley Beautiful community volunteers.
